BC's first LWMP to integrate both Sanitary and Rainwater Management.  A policy document to guide future development and rainwater management in the the District. This plan makes improving water quality and managing quantity goals in land use decisions. It works on three principles: protect existing water quality, prevent future damage, and remediate areas that may already be damaged. Rainwater will be managed through low-impact development techniques, best management practices, marine environmental protection, spill prevention and rainwater management education.

Swell's Contribution
Provided the ecological perspective for developing the LWMP including watershed overview assessments, watershed management principles, best management practices for rainwater management, aquatic ecosystem protection and restoration, spill prevention, and education.
