BOWKER CREEK SEWER CROSSING
AND RESTORATION - Capitol Regional District
A Capital Regional District project of creek restoration in conjunction with a sewer pipe crossing of the creek. The project restored and replanted (with St. Patrick's Elementary School students) a section of Bowker Creek, including bank re-sloping and stabilization, bioengineering and planting native riparian species.
Swell's Contribution
Working as a staff member for the Capital Regional District, Lehna designed the project, coordinated other CRD staff, and supervised contractors onsite, as well as volunteers for bioengineering and riparian plantings.
